TRANSNEFT - Joint Stock Company (Russian: Транснефть; traded as: MCX: TRNFP) is a Russian state-owned transport monopoly, largest oil pipeline company in the world.
Virtual reality for the exhibition stand was developed by us together with the laboratory of computer graphics United 3D Labs for the exhibition stand of OJSC “AK” Transneft ” for 12th Moscow International Exhibition” Oil and Gas MIOGE’2012 .
Russia’s transport monopoly operator of trunk pipelines in Russia, “Transneft” - the largest company in the fuel and energy complex.
As in the experience of teamwork, utilizing latest virtual technology, companies can achieve a great effect in bringing virtual interactive presentations to the audience’s and potential partners.
And if the previous presentation was physically limited by the scope of the touch kiosk, a new interactive 3D presentation was developed well beyond that - straight on the territory of full 3D virtual reality.
We created three-dimensional oil-loading station port of OJSC “AK” Transneft “- realistically visualized in virtual reality and making it possible to dive on a journey through this unique exhibition of achievements of Transneft under the open sky. Custom feed presentation materials proven to be effective, but also stressed the innovative nature of the company Transneft.
Presentation was built on the game engine and visualized in the form of three-dimensional interactive game, display on the display wall. Bright, visually appealing graphics solution had attracted considerable attention of visitors from around the world. Any member of the audience could take part in the virtual tour - especially since the control algorithm and the interaction with the material of interactive presentation was implemented as simple and obvious way for the user. Management of presentation was carried out remotely by means of gestures, which was made possible through the use of sensor Asus XtionPRO.
Members and guests of the exhibition were able to walk around the virtual station from the helipad to the pier and enjoy perfect technological facilities, a maze of pipelines and the surrounding landscape, and incidentally - to see the latest exhibits and general information about the company Transneft.
LUKOIL is one of the world’s biggest vertically integrated companies for production of crude oil & gas.
From 31 of August to 09 of September 2012. International Exhibition Centre “Crocus Expo” held “Moscow’s International Automobile Salon 2012” (MMAS’2012). For the exhibition stand of the open joint stock Company “LUKOIL” - one of the largest oil and gas companies - we were commissioned to develop gesture controlled interactive 3D racing game.
In the development of this game we used gesture control technology based on the sensor ASUS Xtion PRO. Interactive game was shown on the video wall, made up of 9 seamless plasma panels “Orion”.
As a prototype of our 3D sports car model served “LADA Granta”, engineered specifically for the “Lukoil Racing Team LADA” which preformed at the car racing circuit “Turing”. Actual LADA Granta was placed on a pedestal with dynamic lighting near the videowall.
Compact sensor Xtion PRO allowed to implement controls in a simple and intuitive way: to start the game user had to be within the boundaries of the promotional area, lifting up their hands one could access acceleration, turns - with movement of the right hand in the horizontal direction. Our 3D rendered effects and objects allowed each player to feel reality of being behind the wheel of a high-speed sports car.
Of course, the most important role in the game booth played advertising communication. Almost all objects involved in the game and models somehow refer to the trademark of OAO “LUKOIL”, models with a proprietary oil cans LUKOIL, which players had to collect during virtual race.
Considerable attention is paid to the policy in the game of OAO “LUKOIL” in the field of ecology. Nature of high-quality fuel Euro-5 standard, introduced company’s efforts in Russia, emphasized in the intro before each race.
Interactive game race with control gestures attracted significant number of visitors to the stand of OAO “LUKOIL”, espesially when we invited famous race car driver from Lukoil Racing Team - Alexey Dudukalo, the stand was just impossible to pass.
Installation of projected navigation system for BEELINE
Commissioned by the agency IQ Marketing for mobile operator Beeline, T-Y-V MEDIA together with Computer Graphics Laboratory United 3D Labs developed and installed electronic navigation system at the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow (MAMM).
OJSC “VimpelCom” (trade mark “Beeline”) and Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow are recognized leaders in their fields, and it’s not surprising that Beeline is a strategic partner of MAMM. The partnership is designed to expand the joint implementation of social projects, holding art events and exhibitions.
Software development and installation of equipment for unique navigation system for Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow.
The main objectives of the navigation system:
emphasize partnerships Beeline and MAMM;
provide visitors with a simple and clear navigation through the halls of the Museum;
MAMM gave its employees opportunity to quickly and easily change titles of the exposition.
At the same time, we must not forget that this unique navigation is for Russian Museum of Modern Art, which means navigation system must also be an art object, not to be alien to modern multimedia technologies.
Architecturally MAMM structured in the way that all of the rooms are located thru 7th floors of the museum, united by the main staircase. Therefore, as solution we choose is an installation of projectors on the ceiling that shine on the floor in front of the stairs. Visitors of the museum, immediately see which expositions is on this floor, as well as what exhibitions are on the floor above and below. Two projectors shine on the bottom of staircases and inform you of all the exhibitions held at the Museum. It also indicates the time and the name of the nearest films shown in the cinema of MAMM.
For projected visuals we used 3D mapping. When visiotrs walk on the stairs - there is an impression of the image volume.
The system is a complete Digital Signage solution and is based on the remote server that runs on the Internet with all of the equipment in the museum via a secure connection. Museum staff can change names of the exhibitions without leaving their jobs, simply by logging on to a secure web-page and making changes. The schedule of exhibitions and film screenings can be written in whatever period ahead.
Installation in the museum and content took exactly 21 days.
Augmented reality for ROCKWOOL
Conceptualized by T-Y-V MEDIA and produced by Russian firm United 3D Labs interactive exhibition booth of Rockwool at MosBuild 2013 with an augmented reality installation.
MosBuild is the largest construction exhibition in Russia and held annually at the All-Russian Exhibition Center in Moscow. Naturally, a world leading company like Rockwool cannot miss this event. To leave a lasting impression with the visitors, Rockwool hired our experts to create an installation that would draw people onto the booth.
We came up with a sophisticated augmented reality setup. A camera was installed on the booth and it’s live video feed was displayed on a 4x4 video wall – giving the visitors the impression of looking into a mirror. Additionally, virtual elements were added to the content on the screen. In this case, these elements consisted of wild animals. A special sensor would detect whether people were trying to interact with the content. If the visitors were merely walking by, so would the animals. If, however, people stepped onto the area in front of the video wall, the sensor would detect them and an animal would appear right next to the person, allowing the visitor to ‘play’ with the animal.
A touchscreen to the side of the video wall gave visitors the opportunity to view images of their interaction with the virtual animals, send the images out via email or print them right then and there. With over 2,000 printed pictures in only four days, the installation was a real success on the exhibition floor.
Interactive installation “Mobile Camera”
Interactive installation “Mobile Camera” was developed by T-Y-V MEDIA together with United 3D Labs for mobile operator Beeline and Multimedia Art Museum.
A striking example of the involvement in social networks advertising, housed in the Museum of Modern Art our installation became one of the most successful forms for realizing the idea that everyone can now share their creativity, take a creative look at some of our problems and just bring to the table anything interesting and worthy of attention of wider audience.
The idea is simple: any user can post a photo on Instagram, and place hashtag #beeline_mamm. Photos gaining likes, and then some of the most popular pictures are displayed in the Multimedia Art Museum.
We developed interactive installation on a large screen with two projectors. Pictures that a viewer sees on the screen are taken directly from Instagram. With help of gestures visitor can browse pictures, choose the most interesting ones and print them on a printer immediately. In this unusual and non-traditional form of the Multimedia Art Museum takes a dialogue between contemporary artist and his audience.
When there are no active users (nobody is standing in front of the screen and controls), our system shows all the photos with the hashtag #beeline_mamm coming from the virtual cloud. Photos that have most likes, are displayed in the central position and appear larger than less popular ones.
The second mode is “active”. User controls screen action with gestures, looking at photos with convenient speed. All of the photos are arranged in ascending order according to their popularity among users of Instagram. Chosen pictures with the flick of the wrist can be sent to the printer.

It was simple: I wanted to show one of the Ad Agencies possibility of major Ad Campaign creation within 1hr without waste of thousands of dollars.
I dug in areas that bothered me. It was the “garbage islands / rivers” floating in the ocean made out of plastic. This plastic is mostly packaging. Packaging created for differentiation of product, made for usually one product: bananas for example. The nature already created the “perfect packaging” for us. When the nature’s packaging goes bad, it means the product is dying. Whatever is packaged, it is made with addition of preservatives, which we know destroy our health - giving us cancer. When we make packaging we also have to destroy the planet, and our health in the process of manufacturing, and after the packaging discarded.
The absurdity of this situation was a vehicle that created this campaign.
